Remember SOPA? Well forget for a second that almost an entire horde of internet users from across the world spread unprecedented amounts of awareness in hopes of defeating the bill. It's back, as it has been in differently packaged forms for a while now.
Internet censorship is unrelenting, and people who don't even know anything about the internet (old ignorant conservative politicians) are voting to censor it.
I don't even know whether to be more angered by the politicians or the system. On one hand our misguided american politics lead to inevitably unjust situations like this, but then again the system perpetuates its own flaws so that the politicians themselves cannot escape them.
The 1% run the world, and they'd sooner do what's best for business than what's best for their country.
The only redeeming factor here really is Obama's willingness in advance to veto the bill. That should earn the system a few points for its case.
Concerns for our "safety" are simply desires for censorship wrapped nicely in recycled rhetoric and often mass hysteria. Never allow that to misguide you, however, your constitutional rights deserve to not be violated by big business.

What's up?
Its existence is a result of my government teacher's requirement to have one, so here I am.
Feel free to listen to what I have to say, hit me up on my other social networking sites, or whatever.
